These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website at brenmark and your participation in any courses or programmes offered by Brenmark Arcadia. By accessing this website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. About Brenmark Arcadia
Brenmark Arcadia is a financial education provider registered and operating in Malaysia. Our registered address is 88 Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We provide structured educational content on personal finance, budgeting, and investment literacy. We are not a licensed financial adviser and the content of our courses does not constitute financial advice.
2. Nature of Our Services
All courses, workshops, and materials provided by Brenmark Arcadia are educational in nature. Specifically:
- Content is intended to increase financial literacy and understanding — not to direct investment decisions.
- Course materials, case studies, and examples are provided for learning purposes only.
- Nothing in our courses constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product, security, or investment.
- Participants are encouraged to seek independent advice from a licensed financial planner or adviser before making financial decisions.
Brenmark Arcadia is not licensed under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 to provide investment advice, and does not do so.
3. Eligibility
To enrol in any of our courses or use this website, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under Malaysian law; and
- Provide accurate and truthful information during enrolment and any correspondence.
We reserve the right to decline enrolment or terminate participation at our discretion if these conditions are not met.
4. Enrolment and Course Fees
4.1 Fees and Payment
Course fees are as follows:
- Foundation Layer Budgeting — MYR 480
- Structural Systems of Investing — MYR 2,120
- Complete Life Plan Drawings — MYR 3,840
Fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include applicable taxes where stated. Full payment is required prior to access being granted unless an alternative arrangement has been expressly confirmed in writing.
4.2 Confirmation of Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and written confirmation from Brenmark Arcadia. A confirmation email will be sent to the address provided during registration. Please retain this for your records.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Participant Cancellations
If you need to withdraw from a course, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellation more than 14 days before the course start date: full refund, less an administrative fee of MYR 100.
- Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before the start date: 50% refund of the course fee.
- Cancellation fewer than 7 days before the start date, or after course materials have been accessed: no refund is available.
5.2 Transfers
Transfer of enrolment to a future course intake may be considered upon written request, subject to availability. One transfer per enrolment is permitted. Transferred fees are not refundable if the transferred course is subsequently not attended.
5.3 Cancellations by Brenmark Arcadia
In the unlikely event that we must cancel or significantly reschedule a course, enrolled participants will be offered a full refund or a transfer to a future intake of the same programme, at their election.
6. Intellectual Property
All course materials, worksheets, templates, written content, presentation slides, video recordings, and any other materials provided as part of our programmes are the intellectual property of Brenmark Arcadia and are protected under Malaysian copyright law.
Enrolled participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for their own private study only. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials to any third party;
- Use any materials for commercial purposes;
- Share access credentials with others; or
- Record live sessions without our prior written consent.
7. Code of Conduct
Participants in our courses are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and fellow participants. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a programme — without refund — if their conduct is found to be disruptive, offensive, or in breach of these Terms.
8. Website Use
8.1 Permitted Use
You may access and browse this website for personal, informational purposes. You must not use the website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that interferes with its normal operation.
8.2 Accuracy of Information
We endeavour to keep website content accurate and up to date. However, we make no warranties regarding the completeness or currency of information on this site. Course details, fees, and schedules are subject to change; the most current information will always be displayed on the relevant programme page.
8.3 Third-Party Links
This website may contain links to external resources for reference purposes. Brenmark Arcadia is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites, and linking does not constitute endorsement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Brenmark Arcadia shall not be liable for:
- Any financial loss arising from decisions made on the basis of educational content provided in our courses;
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of this website or participation in our programmes;
- Any loss arising from technical issues, service interruptions, or errors beyond our reasonable control.
Our total aggregate liability to any participant shall not exceed the course fee paid by that participant.
10. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using this website or enrolling in a course, you acknowledge having read and understood our privacy practices.
